Our services

Support you can arrange by the hour, the day or the season

Every arrangement is built from the same set of practical supports, combined in whatever way suits the household.

The full list

What our support workers do

Tasks are agreed before support starts and reviewed whenever your needs change. Nothing on this list is all-or-nothing — most people start with one or two.

Daily living & personal care

Hands-on assistance through the parts of the day that take the most effort, delivered discreetly and at your pace in your own home.

  • Morning and evening routines, showering, dressing and grooming
  • Meal planning, cooking and assistance at mealtimes
  • Laundry, linen, dishes and general household tidying
  • Prompting and support with medication routines

Community participation

Company and practical assistance to get out of the house and into the things you actually enjoy, locally or in Geelong.

  • Shopping, banking, post office and everyday errands
  • Sport, clubs, classes, church and community events
  • Visiting family and friends, or a coffee somewhere familiar
  • Support to try something new without doing it alone

Transport & appointments

Distance is the biggest barrier in this district. We drive, we wait, and we help you get what you came for.

  • Door-to-door transport for medical and allied health appointments
  • Trips into Geelong when a service is not available locally
  • Assistance in the waiting room and with notes afterwards
  • Support to use public transport where you would prefer to

Skill building & independence

Doing things with you rather than for you, so that over time you need less support, not more.

  • Cooking, shopping lists, food safety and portioning
  • Budgeting, bills, banking and everyday paperwork
  • Phones, tablets and staying in touch online safely
  • Travel training and building confidence in new places

Respite & short-term support

Cover so that a family carer can rest, work, travel or recover — without the household routine falling apart.

  • Planned regular respite hours, weekly or fortnightly
  • Block cover for a holiday, a hospital stay or a family event
  • Short-notice support where our roster allows it
  • Handover notes so nothing has to be re-explained

Navigating your supports

The administrative side of receiving support, kept orderly so it does not become another job for the family.

  • Clear service agreements and schedules in plain language
  • Coordination with allied health, GPs and other providers
  • Accurate notes and records available to you on request
  • A named contact for questions, changes and concerns

Where we travel

We are based in the Bannockburn and Gheringhap area, postcode 3331, and build rosters around the geography rather than pretending it does not exist.

If you are on a rural road or in one of the smaller Golden Plains towns, ask us. Coverage depends on the day and the hours involved, and we will give you a straight answer rather than a waiting list that never moves.

  • Bannockburn, Gheringhap and the surrounding VIC 3331 area
  • Golden Plains district townships and rural properties
  • The Geelong corridor for appointments and community access

Tell us the postcode

Where you are and roughly what hours you need.

We check the roster

Whether we have a worker who can reach you reliably, on those days.

You get a clear answer

Either what we can offer and when, or a plain no with a suggestion of who else to try.

Before you commit

What we put in writing

Nothing starts until you have a written service agreement covering the supports to be delivered, the days and hours, the fees that apply, and how either of us can change or end the arrangement. Terms of engagement are set out on our terms page.
